DJ El Chino (Luis Felipe Valero Aristizabal Trujillo) was born on the 25th October 1978 in Santiago de Cali, Colombia.

Early he discovered his passion as DJ, at the beginning for Rock and Pop music, and soon then for the afro-caribbean rhythms

He continued his formation in Europe, where he studied Economy and worked as a DJ in Southern Germany, performing in some of the prestigious clubs there, including "Zapata" (resident DJ).

After five years he returned to his homeland where he started his own show "Solar Latin Club" at the University Santiago De Cali's radio station. Over the time "Solar Latin Club" has bekome one of the most listened non-commercial Colombia's radio shows. Its succes is based on its international projection, always broadcasted in three languages (spanish, english and german), as well as introducing the hottest and contemporary Salsa & Latin Jazz artists around the world.

El Chino alternates his job as DJ and radio producer with the work focused in Culture Management, especially promotion of musicians on the international market.

At the present time you can meet DJ El Chino performing in "Tin Tin Deo Club" (Cali) and in 2007 in several events/club in Europe. This is a great way to see him in action and pumping great music into the club.
